Appointment Frequency

Each treatment plan is unique to each patient; typically we will meet every two to four weeks in the beginning of treatment. When symptoms are stable we may consider shorter visits or longer intervals. For psychotherapy, we will typically meet once a week at the same day and time. This allows consistency and the building of a rhythm that contributes to the effectiveness of psychotherapy.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy

We encourage a 48-hour window for cancellations of scheduled appointments when possible. If cancelled within 24 hours of appointment, the full appointment fee will be charged. No-shows will be charged for the full appointment fee as well.

Insurance

Currently, Forte Psychiatry is not contracted with any insurance providers and does not submit claims on patients’ behalf. Patients are responsible for contacting their insurance company to confirm any out-of-network coverage and to obtain guidance on submitting out-of-network claims. If you wish, a super bill/invoice can be provided for you to submit to your insurance directly. The reimbursement value is at their discretion depending on various factors unique to your policy.
